• Sleep data from Apple HealthKit (only if you grant permission)
• We only read sleep data; we never write to HealthKit
• You can revoke this permission anytime in your device Settings

Automatically Collected:

• Device type and operating system version (for compatibility)
• App usage analytics (anonymous, for improving features)
• Crash reports (to fix bugs and improve stability)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve AuraBean's services:

• App Functionality: To display your mood trends, journal entries, and wellbeing insights
• Personalization: To greet you by name and tailor your experience
• Sleep Insights: To correlate your mood with sleep patterns (if you enable HealthKit)
• Account Management: To authenticate you and sync your data across devices
• Service Improvement: To understand how features are used and fix issues

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to anyone
• Use your data for advertising or marketing
• Share your wellness data with third parties
• Track you across other apps or websites

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• Database Security: Your data is stored in Supabase with row-level security policies that ensure only you can access your own data
• Authentication: We use secure authentication methods including Sign in with Apple
• Access Controls: Only you can view your mood logs, journal entries, and personal data

Supabase (Database & Authentication):

5. Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active
• When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days
• Deleted data cannot be recovered

• Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
